Bella Swan was not normal. She had been born with the gift of seeing the dead, but to her it was a curse. She had sworn off her abilities as she returned to her hometown to live out her final year of high school in an attempt at being normal, but nothing is normal when you are the one hope at redemption for the spirit of a lost boy.
POV: First Person (Edward and Bella)
Edward Cullen is the town's resident ghost. He is the tragic story that every newcomer learns about. According to the story, Edward had it all but one day jumped from the roof of the school and died. But did he jump or was there someone else at the scene of the crime? Fast forward 30 years or so to when Bella moves to live with her dad after being forced into the psych ward by her mom. She can see ghosts and is trying to hide the fact in fear of being sent back in. When she sees Edward at school she tries to ignore him but he attaches himself to her and begs her to help him. With his help Bella tries to solve his death.
Don't let the number of chapters scare you away, the chapters are pretty short, just a little longer than a drabble fic. Obviously this story has a paranormal story line. Be careful because some parings are not cannon and some minor characters are very out of character. It was a little strange seeing James and Victoria as the good guys. Overall I thought the story was interesting but it dragged on for a very long time. The author really drags out the mystery surrounding Edward's death. I thought that some of the chapters were fillers and wasn't really necessary in the over all plot but hey, the chapters are short so it wasn't too bad. I did enjoy it though, I thought it was very interesting the way the author dealt with the paranormal aspect.
