Mametchi & Kuchipatchi Appearance at Harajuku Takeshita-dori Yurinan

Want to meet Mametchi and Kuchipatchi? Well this is your chance! You already know that the Harajuku Takeshita-dori Yurinan partnered up with Bandai Japan to deliver delicious Tamagotchi snacks. You’ll be able to enjoy these treats until Sunday, April 9th, 2023. However, if you visit on Thursday March 30th, Friday, March 31st, or Monday, April 3rd, 2023 then you might just meet Mametchi and Kuchipatchi!

Both Mametchi and Kuchipatchi will be present outside of the Harajuku Takeshita-dori Yurinan location by the photo wall. Mametchi will appear at 18:00, and Kuchipatchi will appear at 19:00. They’ll both be scheduled to hand around to meet fans, and take pictures (what a cute photo opportunity) for 10 to 30 minutes each.

The appearances may be cancelled or postponed depending on weather. In order to avoid congestion in the front of the store, greeting time will vary depending on the day. If you’re attending please do post pictures!

Everyone remembers the little friend that fits in your palm! Tamagotchi's are near and dear to kids and adults alike. Unfortunately, in 2013, TamaTown was shut down for uncertain reasons. This petition is attempting to gain some attention to get the site back online! For anyone looking for a little nostalgia, go ahead and join our cause!
