who tried in all ways to bring him back to life (which is the exact Reason for which he was punished with the curse by the God) So … It’s not that I’m defending him, I just understand that he probably have no choice but to act like that.
Like I said, Zeref had his motives, and yes his reasons as well. Yes, the shit he went through was sad and he didn’t deserve the curse nor all the losses he suffered, but he absolutely had a choice to act differently. I mean, in the latest chapter, he didn’t even hear Mavis out.
His ultimate reasoning is to save himself and Mavis from living in eternity being tortured by Acnologia, from what I understood. It honestly comes across like he thinks it wont matter who dies, because the world can just start over.
Zeref has killed even his own people. His idea to hate life so he wouldn’t kill everything he loves is literally ending in him trying to kill everything he loves. Seems kinda backwards to me.
