who said I love you first: He Tian. part of him is afraid Guan Shan doesn’t understand how much he cares and the other, major part of him is simply smitten with everything Guan Shan is, so the words come out instinctively. it surprises him as well, though, not the truth of it, but rather the intensity of its essence; he has been loving Guan Shan with his lips and his eyes and everything else but words, for so long, and now he’s learning to love him with vowels and consonants and it’s something so unique for He Tian, it makes his chest tight after hearing himself say it.
who would have the other’s picture as their phone background: He Tian, definitely. and it takes him a long time to decide which picture to choose, because he has like 849201 pictures of him saved and yeah, that’s a tough decision. one time, just for the fun of it, he uses a pretty naughty, after-sex photo of Guan Shan, eyes closed and chest bruised and chin slightly smeared with semen, and Guan Shan almost throws his phone out the window when he finds out because what the fuck is wrong with you, but He Tian just shrugs “you looked hot the other night”. “and what if someone else sees it?” “they won’t”. but even so, He Tian sticks to adorable pictures, because he’s got a point, no one should see Guan Shan that way but him.
who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror: they both do and it’s kinda hilarious; one time He Tian wrote something cheesy on it (baby?), cheesy enough to bring a bright red on his cheeks, but instead of wiping it off (and be exposed to his flustered expression), Guan Shan writes back. not the cutest thing, but for He Tian, it’s still precious. so yeah, sometimes they randomly scribble things to each other after showering and it’s just fucking domestic.
who buys the other cheesy gifts: definitely He Tian. jesus, he would buy so much embarrassing shit just for the sake of annoying his boyfriend. but lowkey, he wants to remind Guan Shan that he’s loved and the teasing is part of it, in its own way. and Guan Shan likes it too and he grows accustomed to it, to the point it would be weird not to receive something from He Tian once in a while. and one day, Guan Shan mans up and decides to buy something cheesy for He Tian, because if he can do it, I can do it too, though... it’s deadly embarrassing.. and when He Tian receives the gift, he cannot?? believe it? he wants to laugh but there’s a bit of redness on his face that keeps him quiet for a bit and Guan Shan notices it and holy shit, it was so worth it.
who initiated the first kiss: if we’re talking about their first, consensual kiss, that would be Guan Shan. because He Tian would never force himself on him again, and he almost thinks Guan Shan will never, ever reach out, but to his surprise, it happens. the feeling of want in Guan Shan grows so much, he feels like his mind cannot work out this confusion by itself anymore and He Tian’s lips might make more sense.

who kisses the other awake in the morning: hmm, since I can’t decide on a morning person, I think they both enjoy touching the other in the morning. He Tian would lean and kiss Guan Shan’s arm, shoulder, neck, all in a very tender way, like he’s the most precious thing in the world. on the other hand, Guan Shan would kiss He Tian’s forehead, cheekbone, and sometimes even his lips, lingering a bit there, when he feels overly smitten.
who starts tickle fights: He Tian! because Guan Shan’s laughter is one of the wonders of the universe and the more he laughs, the more flowers grow in the world and the more He Tian falls in love. but really, he enjoys seeing him light and relaxed, and playful tickle fights are a good opportunity. although I think they prefer pillow fights over this.
who asks who if they can join the other in the shower: not sure if any of them would actually ask. maybe He Tian, as a tease. but I feel like they would just enter the shower without further questioning; of course, when they reach a point in their relationship where they feel so comfortable around each other, some things remain wordless. I can imagine He Tian waking up pretty early, around 6am, because he can’t sleep anymore and Guan Shan hears him in the bathroom, figures he’s taking a shower and it takes him just a bit to decide to join. and the first thing Guan Shan does when He Tian turns around is to greet him with a passionate, slow kiss.
who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch: Guan Shan, of course. always makes sure He Tian eats well, since he’s such a mess when it comes to self-care. he would make him simple yet freaking delicious meals and He Tian will always compliment his food; Guan Shan tells him to stop being so damn extra, but in fact, hearing this makes him very happy.
who was nervous and shy on the first date: both, definitely. it’s a matter of visibility. Guan Shan is obviously very tense at first (and He Tian is aware of it, so he’s trying to find a way for him to relax) and He Tian is pretty self-conscious, although he’s not showing it. what should I do, is this right? how do people do this? is he enjoying it? — by the time He Tian lets these questions occupy his mind, Guan Shan is feeling much more comfortable as he finally notices He Tian’s extra care. how much he actually tries not to screw up, how he effortlessly looks so fucking good in his outfit and it’s all for Guan Shan. so he would let He Tian know it was an amazing day and, yeah, enough worrying and k-kiss me already.
who kills/takes out the spiders: oh god, #savespiders2k17. I have this hilarious scenario in mind.. where He Tian kills the spider and Guan Shan wrinkles his nose and then gives him a look “you’re gonna have to clean that up”. and suddenly, He Tian regrets everything. but yeah, probably He Tian, because Guan Shan is not a fan of smashing insects, it makes him uncomfortable.
who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk: tbh I can barely picture He Tian.. drunk.. and I feel like drunk He Tian might actually be a very cute/clingy dork?? because he’d no longer try so much to be cool, he would just.. allow himself to slip and let Guan Shan see his soft side. which would make Guan Shan’s life so hard because clingy He Tian whispering things in his ear is a lot to deal with. but if He Tian gets soft and sentimental, then drunk Guan Shan would be.. maybe overly expressive? yeah, he might actually confess his love loudly, but not like, in a romantic way or whatever, just having some sort of stream of consciousness; he reveals his thoughts and feelings and whoa a lot to He Tian, and how much he loves him even though he’s an annoying ass sometimes, but he loves the way He Tian’s hair looks after showering, the way his clothes smell, the way his eyes watch him in the kitchen, the way— actually someone should just call the police because Guan Shan would kill He Tian after confessing such things. still, I can see it happening and it’s a great thing to think about!
