It's really up to you whether or not you want to complete Black Flag. I think if it's becoming too frustrating for you, then feel free to stop and just watch a play-through of the rest of the game online. (You can also just take a hiatus from it.) I wish I could offer you advice on ship battles but I haven't played Black Flag yet, I'm still new to the fandom.

Yeah I’ll definitely think on it. If anything I’ll start by taking a break and seeing how it goes from there.
