I use a meditation method for anger thats pretty helpful and I thought I'd share it since its helped me (I know it doesnt seem like it when I rant but trust me.. I get violent when im angry and shit when im mad cause of bipolar and this helps me have control)
I lay down on my back or sit down facing forward and close my eyes. I imagine a forest (you can imagine yours how you please) its deep and thickly wooded with almost no breaks of light. Fur trees are everywhere so dense you coudlnt walk through them and there is only a clearing in front of me. Its a little foggy and the air is cold and brisk. I inhale and feel the cold air expand my lungs (taking an actual deep breath) and exhale. I close my eyes in this vision and open them again and I have a bow in my hand. Its old and wood with carvings I can feel on my hands and I have a boiled leather quiver full of arrows. I can only see my arms and my arrow and my quiver (like a fps). Each arrow is made of a chunk of my anger and written on each arrow is something I am mad about. I raise an arrow to my bow and pull it tight hearing the wood and string creak. Across from me a fair distance away is tree and a target on that tree maid of some sort of like burlap and stuffed with some some heavy stuffing. I release the arrow and that chunk of anger from my chest and it makes impact with a hard packing sound and I feel lighter. I continue doing this until every chunk of anger and everything im mad about has been transferred to that target. Once done the target vanishes with all those arrows and I open my eyes.
this works with other things too. Its the same principal used in a lot of self hypnosis. You can use it on pain or sadness or whatever. You have to relax your body first though. Meditation/ self hypnosis is great for stress and anger and pain. I used it for labor pain and for cramping when I was sick and it helps immensely
I don't have anger issues
I have bitch shut the fuck up before I punch you in your throat syndrome.
