Hey guys, I have a ManaScrew update!

Tonight at 7pm EST we’re going to stream the first rounds of our Planeswalker Positivity themed decks! We’ve each built a modern deck around our preferred Planeswalker. The Twitch link will be posted later.

For those who weren’t around last time it was active, ManaScrew is a group of tumblr magic nerds who stream MTG games using themed decks. This time it’s a lot better though because there are Cool New regular contributors including ME which improves the whole enterprise a great deal.

avacynguardianangel here. If you haven’t heard, planeswalkerpositivity is a new blog (of which I am a mod) celebrating each planeswalker in their own positivity week! (This week is Liliana week and next week will be Chandra week).

In honor of this cool thing we’re doing where we spotlight planeswalkers and how awesome they are, we at manascrew are gonna be making decks themed around specific planeswalkers and facing off against each other with them!

Deck Building Challenge 9/14/14

Mana Screw’s third deck-building challenge has been decided!
This week, grazzlebrand won the right to choose the challenge the Mana Screw Crew must attempt.



the-sultai-brood’s Deck Challenge: Ravnica Superguilds


The challenge is to pick one of the ten Ravnican guilds (Azorius, Boros, Dimir, Golgari, Gruul, Izzet, Orzhov, Rakdos, Selesnya & Simic) and build a 60 card minimum deck, with a sideboard of 15 cards maximum, using only the two guild colours.
Only cards from either original Ravnica block (Ravnica, Guildpact, Dissension) and Return to Ravnica block (Return to Ravnica, Gatecrash, Dragon’s Maze) may be used for this challenge.


Our guest to be matched against our finalist this week is sarkhan-volkswagen!

Sunday the 13th at 10:30PM EST we will begin our first match.
