WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO TAKE ON THIS MUSE:
My friend recommended me this game, but she did not tell me that it would literally wreck my entire existence. You know who you are. Primarily the game honestly. Initially, I knew I was going to pick up a muse from the game. I was stuck between Lafayette and Alastair. Even though, I eventually began writing Alastair later. : shrug. : I always loved reading about the Marquis de Lafayette (LafaYES.) Personally, I love Lafayette. He is such a fun character to portray and I get to use my French writing skills! As a character, he is certainly someone that falls in line with other characters that I enjoy. He also, in my opinion, has to grow as a knight very quickly. Which is /unfortunately/ where my URL came from.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ASPECTS OF YOUR MUSE:
Oh my gosh, this is DEFINITELY a loaded question! I would have to say his personality. He is very sure in who he is and certainly does not try and hide it from anyone. I love watching his dynamic with the other knights!
WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION WHEN IT COMES TO WRITING:
I know it says inspiration but there are so many, and I am not about to use just one here. There are many different things that inspire me with writing Lafayette! Music is a big one. The game itself, music, history, poetry, literature, and many other things inspire my muse. When I write the Marquis I tend to listen to a lot of music from the classical period! The writings of Voltaire also influence my muse. History is also a major influence considering his real-life counterpart.
FAVORITE TYPES OF THREADS :
When it comes to Lafayette I do not necessarily have a favorite? Is that weird? Like, with him I will literally write just about anything!
BIGGEST STRUGGLE IN REGARDS TO YOUR CURRENT MUSE :
My biggest struggle … hm. I would say is remaining consistent. I always worry if my writing is too much with him. Memes tend to help with that. Also, keeping a balance between game content and IRL content. However, it helps form some of my headcanons so I just go with it 😊
