Gratuitous fictional languages in a Fic make me nope out tbh, especially if there’s no translation notes at the end

Like I admire the effort but if half or more of the text is in a language I don’t read, it shouldn’t be listed under English

There’s some old timey books that have a lot of French because of the assumption that everyone spoke French and it comes across like that, like the author is from another world

I’m not, throw me a bone and just use italics 😅

When the Hero With No Fear becomes the darling of the holonews reels, he usually appears surrounded by soldiers in blue and white armour. Some of it isn’t customised, but a couple in particular are easily recognisable from the design on their helmets.

The Republic’s bendu is obvious, but mandalorians - especially the fighting kind - have been out of fashion for decades. Despite the frothing corrections of the holonet’s mandaboos that it’s a jaig hawk’s eyes, most people see it and think of the pointed ears on tooka cats. 

Official holonews doesn’t bother to identify any of them. They’re only clones. But this soldier keeps showing up, and people need something to call him.

So it’s with some confusion that Captain Rex discovers that a large proportion of the galaxy think of him as the Blue Tooka guy.
