FOR SERIOUS THOUGH.
All my friends could have gone “um yeah no Sege honey that sucks” but they decided to tell me how AWESOME it is and how much I’ve improved. Because from my ‘level’ as an artist at the time, yeah, that did look good, it was the best I could do AT THE TIME, and I had improved in the last month or something.
If I wasn’t too happy with a piece and went ‘I dunno this seems off to me...’ they’d give me pointers and tips on how and where to improve. But if I was REALLY HAPPY with a piece they’d tell me how awesome it was because, yeah, for the skills I had at the time, it was good. Like they wouldn’t go all “..UH...YEAH...SURE. THAT’S GREAT...” it was actually GENUINE
Or like they wouldn’t go all “...That’s great but this sucks and this sucks and this should look like this and the anathomy is all wrong and...” etc.
The positive feedback they gave me made me happy, and I’d keep going and improving, instead of being discouraged and giving up.
ANd to this day they’re STILL very supportive when I show them my art, and I am happy with my art now, but that doesn’t mean I’ll stop improving.
And oh man, the fanart was encouraging too. It isn’t like “OMG YES FREE ART GIMMIE” it’s like “Oh my god I can’t believe someone likes my character enough to put aside some time and effort to draw them” and it means SO MUCH to me.
Like to this day I have folders of fanarts of Shab (Teri people, you know him, eeeey) and Storm and other characters. And they mean so much to me to this day, even though when I say this to the people that drew them they go like “OMFG YOU STILL HAVE THAT OLD THING, WHY”
In the same regard, I remember a fanart someone gave me like years ago and I’m like
“...What were they thinking omg why did they draw my old wolfaboo characters or Sanic characters and how did they manage to work with the crappy images of them I had as a reference, and oh god I remember I gave them fanart too how did they deal with my crappy bad anathomy wolf or Sanic fanart”
But then I realize that, or well, I hope that, I managed to make them happy with my fanart just as they made me happy with theirs.
tl;dr I’m just really thankful to the people that were encouraging and still are encouraging with my art, because I doubt I’d be where I am today without them.
When you remind youself
When you remind yourself that Mandah who sang the Lullaby song from Pokemon The first movie; is Willa Ford who sings Prince Charming and I wanna be Bad
If I remember correctly she wanted to drop the good girl image and that fact her name was so close to Mandy Moore; she changed to Willa Ford.

First sentence under Music Career:
"In 1999, the 18-year-old Ford started performing under the stage name Mandah and was signed to MCA.[1] Ford was later dropped from MCA and signed by Atlantic Records. Atlantic placed one of Ford's songs, "Lullaby," on the soundtrack for Pokémon: The First Movie. Ford changed her stage name from Mandah to Willa Ford in order to avoid confusion with Mandy Moore."
Lullaby by Mandah. Getting those feels again..
misterdoctorprofessor replied to your post: I had to sit in wet clothes all day because it was...
This happened to me yesterday omfg I got downpoured on twice and then by the time I got home to get my umbrella it was done raining OTL
I was pretty lucky because I get off the bus at a place where there's a bakery so I can get my lunch. And even tho I walked only a bit I got SOAKED. And at the bakery there was this girl that works where I work and she was all "OMG LOOK AT YOU. GET UNDER THE UMBRELLA" so at least i had some protection for my upper body but my legs were SOAKED. I don't have any waterproof footwear anymore so I only have regular sneakers so I sat in wet shoes/socks all day which is bad.
When we got to work it friggin stopped raining >8I
