they sit in silence . kanao doesn't mind it , but she still finds it difficult to strike conversation . @mandhalor communicates in other ways she'd learned . mostly acts of service and even those seemed rare and few . she glances over at the grogu sitting in the seat beside din , the little coos and excited sounds filling the quietness of the ship as he plays with the small ball attached to one of the levers . it's cute how easily entertained he is . she stands in the middle , eyes moving over the map that din currently looks at . they're bordering the outer rim from what it looks like . ❛ are we lost ? ❜ her voice is quiet but curious and she raises a brow at din before picking up grogu and putting him in her lap as she takes a seat beside him .

dance with the devil ,  forever obliged to engage in ceaseless encores for more blood , more death.  all at the behest of the empire.  how ever it would continue to dirty his hands  ------  those that did not clap as loud as the wide - eyed audience’s ------  he would happily oblige.   it wasn’t often that he found himself conflicted ,   as he is now.  as he was then.  a bounty’s puck thrown aggressively towards the other ,  may it rest at their feet  ------  they who had been clad still ever so righteously in mandalorian armor.  the holographic image matched their description perfectly.         ❛     lookie who i found.     ❜     a sigh ,          ❛     always the better seeker than hider ,  now ,  weren’t you ?     ❜   /  @mandhalor​​  !

A frown quirked the corner of his mouth down. Clearly he wasn’t thrilled with the idea of the masked man watching what he was doing, but Nico knew it would be wasting his breath to say as much. Once the guy set his mind to something, he would see it through.

“Alright,” he said after a moment, crossing his legs under him and setting his hands loosely on his knees. Nico still wasn’t terribly confident in his ability to commune with the Force and speak to any spirits who might be willing to offer advice, but considering he didn’t have any other leads to learning about Jedi or  the Force, it was his best shot. He just hoped the masked man wouldn’t get too bored.

Nico shot the smaller Force user a guilty look before looking up again at the masked man. “Can we please go somewhere without frogs on the menu?” he begged.

To a word, the typical meals served by the guardian were serviceable, not necessarily that tasty but definitely filling. Beyond that, whenever they had an option to purchase something at a shop, the little one seemed to almost always get first choice. Somehow frogs were easy to find almost anywhere.

Nico’s lips pressed into a thin line. Some said that the Force could make its users lucky, that those who had certain skills with the Force could just allow certain things to happen and that in the long run, they ended up helping the person who wielded it. Nico didn’t think that was the case for him. Any time he tried to use the Force or met someone who figured out he could use the Force, it ended up for the worse. Usually painfully so.

He could recognize the other’s sentiment, and he could tell the guy was earnest, but Nico still wasn’t convinced that would actually get him anywhere. Or it would get him hurt. A bitter sting of guilt darted through his chest. “I know,” he finally said, voice low.

The Mandalorians that had taught her to fight had whispered of this one. A rumor, of a great warrior who had given his soul in exchange for a child. A child that had unspeakable powers, yet was worth tearing down the world for. There were whispers of an ex-Imp, a powerful one, who had taken the Foundling child. This silver clad warrior had destroyed everything to get the child back.

Her skin tingles under flight suit fabric and old scavenged armor painted forest green, fingers tensing around her blade. Of course, with her awful luck, she would encounter the one who wore the skin of Mandalorians, after all this time. One that possibly knew nothing of the Clan that had saved her years ago.

She is a wolf, roaming the wastes, searching for her next prey… Yet part of her wonders if he is just the same.

“I was here first.” Childish, the wolf child proclaims her stake in the bounty, searching the woods with precision that not many humans had. Her bounty is a large, colossal creature, wracking up the bodies of many who searched the land for their fortune.

“You won’t last long out here alone.” Robin turns slightly, voice cracking in the modulator, almost a growl. “I suggest turning back.”
