These M&M Christmas Cookies are a delightful holiday treat, featuring a rich chocolatey flavor and colorful M&M's that add a festive touch to your cookie platter. Perfect for sharing and gifting during the holiday season.
Ingredients: 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup brown sugar, packed. 2 large eggs. 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract. 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 1/2 cups M&M's chocolate candies Christmas colors.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F. Beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a sizable mixing bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. One egg at a time, adding and beating thoroughly after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and stir. Mix the flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt in a different bowl. Mixing until thoroughly combined, gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ones. Mix one cup of chocolate M&Ms into the cookie dough by folding them in. Round tablespoons of cookie dough should be dropped, separated by about 2 inches, onto ungreased baking sheets. For a festive appearance, press a few extra M&Ms onto the top of each cookie. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the centers are just beginning to soften and the edges are set, in a preheated oven. Take out of the oven and let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets, then move them to wire racks to cool down completely. Savor your Christmas cookies with M&Ms!
