It's fun to eat these M&M's Candy Cupcakes because they have the rich chocolate flavor of cupcakes and the sweet, colorful crunch of M&M's candies. These are great for birthdays, other special events, or just whenever you want something sweet!
Ingredients: 1 box of your favorite chocolate cupcake mix. 1 cup M&M's candies. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 2 cups powdered sugar. 1/4 cup milk. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles optional.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the cupcake mix box. Prepare the cupcake batter according to the package instructions. Fold in 3/4 cup of M&M's candies into the cupcake batter. Line a cupcake tin with cupcake liners and fill each liner 2/3 full with the batter. Bake the cupcakes in the preheated oven for the recommended time on the package, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and allow them to cool completely on a wire rack. While the cupcakes are cooling, prepare the frosting. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add in the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract, and beat until the frosting is smooth and fluffy. Once the cupcakes are cooled, frost them generously with the prepared frosting. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of M&M's candies on top of each cupcake for decoration. If desired, add rainbow sprinkles for extra color and fun. Serve and enjoy your delicious M&M's Candy Cupcakes!
