Enjoy the decadent and rich combination of fudgy brownies and smooth chocolate mousse on top. For chocolate lovers, these Chocolate Mousse Brownies are heaven on earth!
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter. 2 cups granulated sugar. 4 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1 cup heavy cream. 1 tablespoon powdered sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Set the oven to 350F 175C and heat it up. A 9x13-inch baking pan should be greased. Melt the butter in a large bowl that can go in the microwave. Add the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract and mix them in well. Mix in the baking powder, salt, flour, and cocoa powder until the mixture is smooth. Add the chocolate chips and mix them in. Spread out the batter in the baking pan that has been prepared. If you stick a toothpick into the middle and it comes out with wet crumbs, the cake is done. Making the chocolate mousse topping will take some time while the brownies are baking. Mix the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl that has been chilled. Whip the mixture until stiff peaks form. Spread the chocolate mousse on top of the brownies once they are 100% cool. Put it in the fridge for at least two hours before you serve it. Cut it into squares and serve it cold. Have fun!
