so he’s born, adopted, and raised in yeoju, south korea. tiny place. (what is it with me and writing tall boys from tiny towns?) it’s not horrible, but it’s very much suffocating suburbia. he’s one of the only supernatural people in his whole neighborhood and the only mermaid in yeoju. 

life is fine!!! and then this little asshole pushes him into a pool to see if he really is a mermaid and tae panics Big Time. accidentally makes the water swirl around and pulls down all the other students.

the students and their parents? saying it’s not very cash money of him to do that and they want him gone. so his family ups and moves to seoul. 

he finds himself a bit in seoul! he makes friends! he becomes a little more okay with being a mermaid! he plays baseball, he does art therapy, he dates people. living the teenage life, as you will.

at some point he becomes the friendly neighborhood spiderman fishman. does some teenage vigilantism and venor is like wow! come join us! but he wants to go to school for art and do art therapy for others and he’s like it’s okay! 

then life fucks up and his sister’s ex-boyfriend releases an incriminating sexual video of her. so he handles it.

her mother was a banshee and her father was an ifrit djinn

she had a voice until the age of 5, when she had damaged her vocal cords after her banshee powers had shown, foreshadowing her mother’s death

she was mostly stuck at home in her childhood years, taking care of her baby sister (  because of this, sohee knows a lot about kids and loves cooking ) 

her father has abused her in different ways after her mother was gone from age 6 to 14, luckily an amaranthine lady has killed him after an event of his own foolishness and took sohee and her sister under her own care

she has some burn marks along her back/arms 

sohee has a LOT of bad habits and i cannot stress this enough

she has a small sun tattoo on her inner wrist!!

she has been properly trained by the amaranthine lady to become a drug manufacturer

she became a bookkeeper around one year ago!!

I’m Arlyn (she/her, 24, CDT) and I’m an admin here at MANEO, and the mun for this lovely meme queen (and this dad over here). Here’s Hisoka’s bio (heads up, it’s lengthy), but below the cut is a TL’DR on her. 

Daughter of a Marid Djinn queen and a Kitsune who washed up on her shores

The Queen’s people were Not Having a mixed blood as their ruler, so naturally they staged a coup against them. Hisoka wasn’t even a day old before her uncle had to take her to Korea, seeking asylum with the Marid Djinn tribe of Goeje.

It was her uncle who joined Lupos after the leader saved their lives. Hisoka’s grown up with the people of Lupos her whole life. 

She was around 4 or so when her uncle was killed in the line of duty. The leader adopted her, wanting to make sure she was taken care of

As she grew up, the leader was the only family she’d ever really known. The people of Lupos were her brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles. They really are her family, and she’ll stop at nothing to keep them safe. 

When the leader died in the attack, she didn’t assume the role of leader automatically. It came gradually. She put in the work to keep everyone safe, fed, and sheltered. Organized relief efforts to help ease the burden on everyone. She was never elected the leader, and she never claimed the role for herself until about a year later when she realized she’d taken over her father’s position rather seamlessly. 

She’s a soft girl, at the end of the day. She loves memes, cute things, peaches, and pretty girls. She wants to offer as much love and care as she can to anyone in need. She’s hardened just enough to the cruelties of the world, but she refuses to let that stop her from loving and helping. she refuses to believe the world is a lost case.

merchant takes the baby home and he and his wife name him vincent

his mother was an herbalist and creates a tonic that can suppress his werewolf transformation, and his father was part of the mafia (international weapons dealer)

his dad teaches him all about weapons, smiting, repairing, firing, and his mother teaches him herbalism. he genuinely has a pretty normal life, mafia excluded, until his parents die of old age and he still doesn’t look a day over 25. 

he moves to korea to get a feel for the country that birthed him, and he comes upon a pack of the lost and broken. he’d never met other werewolves, so he decided to run with them to learn how to embrace the side of himself he’d always kept concealed.

hunters came and slaughtered his pack. he rounded up the survivors and they ran as far and fast as they could.

so he called in old favors, old contacts, and he started doing small time backalley weapons trades to make some extra cash. sdfsjdf but his packmates found out and were like hey, we can help. anything to help out the family. 

the pack grows, as does the business, and soon enough they’re not just a wolf pack selling guns to survive, but a group of people who were struggling and alone coming together to make an organized crime family

2018 and the hunters come back and massacre the place, yaddah yaddah

he goes down and hisoka nearly dies trying to get him to safety. 

vic nearly dies a few times trying to stabilize him

vince spends 7 months in a coma, and hisoka acts as a temporary leader, and then when he wakes up she continues to act as leader until he’s able to return to work
