Change: What was a turning point in your muse’s life?

Two moments that are more or less adjacent come to mind, foils of each other, if you will. The first moment being a few years after his mother died. His father had passed a few years prior to that, and Angelo realized that from this point on, he was alone. He didn't have any other family, didn't have many at all friends— and it was one day he realized he hadn't really spoken a word in weeks. He was truly alone, wasn't he? You would think the next moment would be when he first joined the lupos pack, but no. It was long after the first massacre, long after he'd taken over as pack alpha- and came in the form of a little smiling face on Christmas morning. Holding a smiling baby Luciano was when he realized he wasn't alone anymore. Time passed, Lupos grew, Raiden, Hisoka, Dal, and Vic came into his life- time passed, Lupos grew, Dae, Changmin and Hansol came into their lives- And that's when he realized he'd never be alone again.

Upon first instinct, his answer is his children. It's a lightning fast reaction, hardly a split second between being presented the options. His children, always. He doesn't even think before he has his answer.

And then he thinks. He thinks about his pack. His little extended family. About all the people who rely on him to be a strong leader that can protect them— after all, that's why so many of them had joined lupos in the first place. About the dozens of lives he'd have to sacrifice to keep the six (seven, if you counted Jiwoo, and Angelo did) most important people in his life safe.

He would carry the heaviest burden for the rest of his life, the weight of those dozens of lives (he already does), but he would still have to pick his kids. He can live with the weight of those lives, but he could never live with himself if he sacrificed his own children.

A sense of family. Vincent is not good at not having family. He grew up with a family of Italian mages, so A.) Italians, and B.) Coven life. It filled his need for a wolfpack, to a degree, and when his parent passed on, he found his pack. Then his pack became Lupos, and Lupos became Invictus. He has an overwhelming need to protect his family. He’s not sure if it stems from being an Alpha, or from growing up in the mafia, but he protects his family with his life.

When people make assumptions or baseless accusations, when people beat around the bush too long, when people take advantage of his hospitality or kindness, people who are all talk and no bite, and people without compassion, to name a few.
