saved the yawn/laugh pose one last and here marks the end of the manga comm.... for now 👀 Again, I’ll prob open for these a few more times somewhat soon via my telegram channel @ ReilukahArt so that’s where to go to get one. If there seems to be big enough interest I’ll muster the strength to one again do a big opening thru a google form and share that link here on tumblr!
"See ya, Mr. Postman!"
Some exploratory illustrations from my latest comic idea. The cute guy waving his hand is Raul, while the postal worker is Vincent. Been really excited about this one, it's felt the most 'me' since, well, Cans of Beans!
I may end up making a new Tumblr for drawings from this new idea, but we'll see--especially for the more spicy drawings.
just doodling while watching Alchemy of Souls on Netflix. I'm still only halfway into season one.
I haven't tried doodling from life like this in a long while. I'm kinda rusty...
My favourite book series is Jenny Dolphin and the Hidden Lands. It is kind of similar to FMA in its concept: for everything you take, you must pay equivalently. There was even one centence that made me think the author took his inspiration in it, I saw a reference: “The circus mechanic Henry Rockvel (or Rokvel, Rockwell or any other way you could have spelled that. I’m awful at translating names)...” Really similar to this one mechanic, Winry Rockbell, don’t you think? :D
I seriously adore the way the athor describes every event, every action. The books and the auhor are not well-known though, which is really, really sad. For some reason, this exact quote keeps spinning in my mind. It may seem meaningless, but it’s not. Trust me. Sometimes the equivalent is something one can’t pay...
Yesterday’s color artwork.
