Crepe craving. Time: 10:30PM It's late at night and I know I shouldn't have these but I just couldn't stop thinking about them ! I decided to stop torturing myself, got up and got the flour, eggs, water, salt and butter... and made myself some crepes. Not the healthiest late night snack--heck, i shouldn't even be snacking this late at night!--but when you really can't help yourself, it's much better to make your own dessert or snack rather than buy commercially-produced ones which are usually filled with additives, preservatives, transfats and/or high fructose corn syrup! Making your treats yourself lets you control the quality and cleanness of the ingredients you use. You can be assured that what you will be putting in your body is nourishing, especially if you make your food with LOVE ❤️ I made the filling simply with diced mangoes (mangoes given by my sweet nephew) and home made syrup (it was actually the water and sugar solution in which I boiled the orange and lemon peels the previous day when I made candied lemon and orange peel).
