Why can’t this stupid train go any faster?’ he murmured under his breath in annoyance after having looked at the time on his phone. He was already late when he left his home because he had forgotten to set the alarm. With a slightly nervous feeling he got up from his seat when he heard the voice in off announcing the next stop, secretly hoping that Jinki wasn’t there yet or he would come up to a bad start. Not that it was a big deal, since they already knew each other. But being face to face with a person whom you’ve only seen in pictures wasn’t something Baekhyun was feeling too comfortable with.
What if it didn’t turn out to be the way he thought Jinki would be like? People tend to sound different over a chat conversation than on the phone. Maybe because it’s your own mind which reads the words with its own perspective, and that’s probably not what the other person originally meant to say.
He took a deep breath and tightened the grip on his bag while he waited for the train to finally come to a stop. Suddenly his nerves were welling up inside him, he would be staying with Jinki for a week at the other’s apartment for a whole week in hope to spend some time together and make their friendship grow stronger.
