Labyrinth of the White Lotus or White Stone of Chartres Cathedral. An older Sufi/Egyptian manuscript can be found with this precise, exact pattern, predating the building of Chartres. The Knights Templar, builders of the great Gothic Cathedrals, learned these masonry techniques and sacred geometry from the Gnostic temple builders in the far East. The symbolism holds the same significance as the Ancient Egyptian and Buddhist imagery of the individual rising out of the lotus flower.
