Last June 11, we (me, together with some of my best-est friends) went to Mall of Asia Arena to witness jaw-dropping live matches of Dota 2. The hype was too much!! The pro-gamers, the casters during the game and the crowd’s hype everytime big plays are being pulled off whichever team does it. Some team managed to meet & greet their fans from Manila. The Manila Major started from June 7 and closed its remarks on June 12th. However, I wasn’t able to attend all of them due to shortage of tickets but luckily, the assigned teams were the ones i’ve been rooting for since ‘11, namely Natus Vincere, Fnatic and not to mention, Vici.Gaming Reborn. I managed to meet them by queuing long forms of line and standing there for almost 3 hours for each team. 

“And with perseverance, the snail reached the ark.”

I live by that saying knowing that everything can be accomplished through patience and perseverance. I didn’t mind the numbness of my legs because I know, everything will be worth it. And somehow, it was.

I’ve got no words left to describe the feeling of meeting your long-term idols since Day 1. I even shook Dendi’s hands when we were about to get our photo taken by the photo booth. That photo from Team Fnatic? I immediately told Mushi to form his hands in half-heart shaped form while the rest of the team joined and celebrated the fun. They were very nice in person! Including DJ, our very own Kababayan playing in pro scene for Team Fnatic. And for some sweets, I snapped some photos together with Booth Babes from Asus, GS Riku (Caster from LoL) and Ann B. Mateo.
