sometimes I write stories about peace and running barefoot on grass and standing atop a snow-capped peak whilst looking down on the earth with its urban life and walking through a forest with binocs around my neck and a camera in my hands.

sometimes I write about running through sprinklers in Ooty and the silence of a monastery in Dharamshala and watching the onslaught of the Kalbaisakhi (nor'westers) in Kolkata and spending the early hours of the day in the hopes of spying a hornbill in Manipal.

I write these stories because I want to relive these experiences of being one with nature but all I can do now is imagine and reminisce.
