Sneak peek of things to come at Manneken Press in 2022: two images that will form the basis for a new series of monoprints by @katepetley. Theses proofs are copper plate photogravures from objects that Petley composes using various materials, then stages, lights and photographs. The print is one of a remarkable group of unique prints Ledgerwood made at Manneken Press which, due to the pandemic, we weren’t able to show publicly until this April at @expochicago. After graduating from Gray’s School of Art in 1981, Davidson moved to London. He then lived in New York for 15 years before moving to Barcelona, where he has been based since 2001.
