recently bought some dried calendula flowers from a local apothecary, and trying to make something pretty with this beautiful paper i got from a RISD consignment shop

i might be layering some rice paper over it, a cheap chine colle

After much procrastination, I'm very happy to present my latest print! This horse is printed from two blocks and features collaged elements for embellishments. Unlike my last chine colle/linocut project, I decided to keep the collage paper the same throughout the edition. I really like the subtleness of the pattern and hints of gold this particular Japanese washi paper adds to this image.
