#no one (who doesnt already know me and my whole deal abt this) ever wants to hear me even try to talk about my reasoning for this lol#i say i like runbacks and ppl look at me like i just said i like to eat rotting roadkill flesh and wash it down with sewage#man i just think we're giving way too much importance to boss encounters at the expense of anything else#and encouraging people to bash their head against encounters they arent ready for#by putting a save point right outside the door#also just kills any sense of tension like okay well that is very clearly a boss arena with a save point in front of it well i know exactly#whats going to be happening now and exactly what consequences it isnt going to have#levels are to funnel you to bosses open worlds are to walk through once to unlock fast travel points#and no part of the game no matter how well made is worthy of being experienced twice#mannnnn.....
