Dragon muzzle mask with a custom blue and white coloration. The customer's character had a very fun musical theme to the markings and a really pretty gradient. I did my best to convey it with this combination of paint and dye. I was pretty happy with the sort of ivory off-white I mixed up for the lower jaw.

what is it with character blorboification and the trend to always in the process make them less competent and mature people than they are in the source material. like people will be like omg scunglo is so bad at feelings and communication lol theyre so pathetic they dont even know how to take care of themself. and then you look at scunglo and it's a character that has communicated their very well reflected on feelings in a perfectly fine and eloquent manner at every turn and never showed any particular lack of self awareness of their own health and needs. what's up with that

im sure the slow and repetitive pace of the same lessons over and over with next to no new information being introduced while pestering you to practice for (only!) a few minutes every day that language learning apps tend to have has everything to do with that being the most effective way to learn and nothing to do with the fact that they're subscription based services

My fellow bird nerds will understand the breathless excitement I felt to turn a corner in the wetlands and witness this quiet scene! The secretive King Rail is a bird I’ve rarely been able to photograph, let alone film. How cool that my first chance to catch one on video was such a gorgeous and relaxed bird.
