Moving In | Abel & Roderich
Roderich has had a roommate before when he first came to college, but that was a year ago. Now, after a year of living by himself, he had come up with a way of doing everything. He had a way of organizing the place just so, where everything had it’s place. The methodical organization of his kitchen especially was something he took pride in. Now having someone else entering such a space... the room for error was more than he was comfortable with.
Although, perhaps his roommate would be just as neat as him. Maybe his roommate wouldn’t be a total and complete slob, for if he was... well Roderich would have quite a few choice words for the man. Also, what usually came with the notion of sharing space with another person was compromise. What would Roderich have to compromise now that he would be having a roommate again? Do they usually like a cold room? Do they like it hot? Do they walk around with little to no clothing? Would they mind if Roderich tended not to wear too much clothing while he was home?
What some might be excited about, Roderich was not. He was not ready to give up his solo life style so to speak. But at the same time, it would be nice to have someone help pay the rent, which was really the only reason why he was accepting the other as a roommate.
‘Gott, the lengths I go to...’ Roderich released a small weary sigh before he glanced up at the sound of another knocking. “Just a moment, please.” He gave the room one quick glance over to make sure everything was in place, before going to greet his new roommate with a polite smile.
“Hallo, you must be Abel. I’m Roderich, it’s nice to meet you.” Roderich stepped aside so the other could pass through, “Please, come in.”
