Loved this Halloween look of LISA'S, inspired by the short film Jibaro and designed by Thai designer Prapakas to include various elements that evoke Thai culture and dance.
It is clearly the same character but the changes make it more personal to LISA and so more interesting than just a straight copy would be.
I love the little pikul flowers in the top of the headress and the ornaments that evoke flower garlands worn on a chada (crown)
The reference to the intricate beaded designs that are used in traditional manora dance costumes is also unmistakable and all those dangling chains make me think of the sangwan (body chains) worn in traditional thai dress and dance as well.
Of course for me a gold costume also always reminds me of my beautiful Khem 💛
