For people interested and not aware of the process: this is "greenware" clay. Very brittle at this point. I have to fire it at 1100 Celsius first. It becomes "bisque" and further polishing and detailing becomes possible. Then I "stain" it with pigments, fire it again, apply a glaze layer and fire it again.
