I seem to be stuck in a pink background phase. I really do love how the gold (more yellow in photos) looks with the orange and pink. It was fun in my large sketch book.

"New Generation"

11x14 I tried something different for me. I used black and white gesso as a start on the page. Then I picked out shapes of people and painted one gold and the other silver. The largest block is not blue but black, white and gray. The circles are inspired by Los Angeles tattoo artist Dr. Woo. I love the simplicity of the shapes and the complication of the forms. Various shades of gray are joined by a bit of red.
