Mansur Brown - "Shiroi"
(Serious by Mansur Brown)
Curious about how @mansurbrown pulled off this amalgamation of blues, trap, kora and jazz rendering you incapable of tying it to a specific genre, a delightful surprise; @photek crossed with @ToumaniDiabate & @Vieuxfarkatoure .

Heres my cringe ass top 10 aoty playlist. Its in no particular order except No.1 Elori Saxl - The Blue Of Distance, and No.2 Armand Hammer - Haram. I listened to a lot more classical and minimalist music this year which i'm pretty happy with. Also really happy to have Scottish bands like Herbert Powell Making the list this year! Outsanding year for music imo!
London-based producer/ multi-instrumentalist Mansur Brown’s second album, ‘Heiwa’, which means peace in Japanese, is the first release on his own Amai Records label and incorporates hip-hop, R&B, electronica, ambient, and post-rock. Oh, and it's pretty special!
