-No one is safe from Cole’s need to love (or use you as entertainment). Kai is squished flat on a daily basis. Lloyd, Jay, and Wu are regularly headbonked, groomed, and otherwise coddled. And Zane is his personal teething toy
-The only exception is Nya, who sprays him if he tries to indulge in unconsented affection
-Catch him forlornly meowing in the doorway of her workshop demanding attention and she’s just “use your words cole” and he just meows louder
-Kai is physically incapable of scolding him. He’ll see those big sad puppy eyes and give Cole scratches to make him feel better, telling him he’s such a good boy~ (despite ripping the bathroom door off the hinges)
-Another thing. Despite Jay and Nya making him a very elaborate scratching board cole will still insist on randomly clawing/chewing on walls, doors, tables, and anything of possible value
-This makes keeping him out of the pantry much harder
-The ninja do encourage him to at least relearn to speak and read, just to make sure his mental faculties are there (at the end of the day Cole is still deeply traumatized and fled into a feral state of mind because of it)
-He doesn’t like doing it, but understands he gets more treats if he does (and it makes the ninja happy which makes him happy :))!!)
-He goes to Zane or Nya when they’re upset and reads to them. It’s comforting. But also-
- Wu just meditating in his room and Cole busts the door in saying “I’m going to read to you” and cracks open the hobbit. He starts screaming if Wu tries to leave
-He demands a treat every chapter
