This prac involved getting creative and cutting letterforms from pages from pictures in magazines. It was really interesting to see the different techniques everyone used to capture different letters and the freeform style many used. I found this activity very therapeutic and it was a really nice change physically cutting and glueing the images/not using our laptops and the adobe suite to create design.

Many used a form of collage to create the letters by combining two images and others used the scissors to create a curved and flowing style, which I really liked as the image looked abstract. Unfortunately when I tried this technique I found it much more difficult to create a new image without following the flow of the existing images. By the end of the activity I found that I was able to search for letters within the images better, and try to come up with a create an interesting outcome
