BREAKING: Vantage AMR MANUAL 😱 ______________________________________ [4/30/19] Aston has just unleashed the Vantage AMR with a manual gearbox!! Not only that but the 7 speed dog leg manual will be made an option for the regular vantage too!! A dog leg manual, if you don’t know, means that gears 2-7 are in the normal H pattern while the 1st gear is off to the side. Aston has also included their AMSHIFT system that basically is active rev matching and even no lift up shifts for super quick speed runs! The Vantage AMR also makes use of a new rear LSD!! 🔥[@allcarnews Spec Sheet] The Last Vantage with a manual was the last generation V12 Vantage S with a dogleg 7 speed manual. Under the hood of the Vantage AMR is the AMG sourced 4.0L TT making 503HP and 461 lb-ft of torque. Now that torque is a viable from 2,000-5,000RPM in the AMR! Aston also has cut 209lbs thanks to the manual as well as standard carbon ceramic brakes! Expect 0-60 around 3.9sec and a 195MPH Topspeed! 🔥 Anew adaptive damper system with different modes should help out driving performance too! Aston said it wasn’t easy because the 4.0L AMG V8 never was designed for a manual gearbox so they have had to develop their own software, shift logic and overall gearbox to pair it with the TwinTurbo burbly unit! Aston has said they also have had to create an entirely new driveline too! This is some hardcore dedication to the manual gearbox and to Aston fans that are begging for its return! Just 200 Vantage AMR’s will be made WORLDWIDE painted in Sabrio blue, Phynx black, China Grey or White Stone and the 59 rest will wear Sterling Green called the Vantage 59 editions to commemorate the brands 1959 LeMans win!
