After my favourite 86" @cambridgeafricaexpedition was recovered by the AA and repaired by @stemorecroft she received a lift via Ste's D4 from Nottinghamshire to Snowdonia - today I will be taking #PAC519 on a shakedown to see if she's fit for a trip to London & back. It would be a great understatement to say the L319 is a competent towing vehicle - it's no surprise at all that they're such a choice motor for towists. My D3 has also been left in the very capable hands Mr Morecroft for a final tweak whilst I was forced to slumb-it by pottering about in his Aston. I'm also enjoying capturing much required content of #PAC519 courtesy of @wue306. BTW, all the above pix were taken using my Note 20 ultra. Do they pass as suitable for net consumption? so I was really curious about the type of car mammon has...

so I showed my older brother who’s a giant car nerd and can name any car ever made. I knew from how it looked it had to be a muscle car so when I first showed him he said there was 2 cars he can think of..

an old Aston Martin V8 Vantage from 1977 or..

the 1969 Ford Mustang.

now personally I believe it to be a mustang just from the shape of the lights and car altogether but I can’t be entirely sure.

Aston Vantage AMR MANUAL 😱 ______________________________________ [4/26/19] First off, check out @drivewithdray ‘s Aston Vantage spec which is by far my favorite and take in its beauty while also taking a seat because this news is BIG!! Aston dropped a teaser today of a new Vantage AMR... oh and it will be getting three pedals!! The AMR model also will bring along green accent trim, AMR badging and a host of chassis, braking, suspension and performance improvements! 🔥[@allcarnews Spec Sheet] The Last Vantage with a manual was the last generation V12 Vantage S with a dogleg 7 speed manual. For this 2020 version, it will pair the AMG sourced 4.0L TT V8 with a manual gearbox, a first for the engine! The number of gears is unknown but we may see the 7 speed dogleg return! Currently the power plant in the Vantage makes 503HP and 505 lb-ft of torque but expect to see a slight boost in power for the AMR version! 🔥 Aston said it wasn’t easy because the 4.0L AMG V8 never was designed for a manual gearbox so they have had to develop their own software, shift logic and overall gearbox to pair it with the TwinTurbo burbly unit! Aston has said they also have had to create an entirely new driveline too! This is some hardcore dedication to the manual gearbox and to Aston fans that are begging for its return! The Vantage AMR should be unveiled NEXT WEEK!!
