About a year ago i made this hammer for class. Brass head, brass end cap and aluminum handle.
I miss being on the machines
Used my #hossfeldbender to bend up the U shaped section that will get welded in. Few little adjustments on the Acme anvil, and it's ready to be trimmed and welded. Just over a month after buying it, I finally got the Monarch unloaded at my shop! Had to get creative with unloading it. Lifted it off my trailer, put it on machinery skates on a tilting trailer. Used the winch to slowly roll it down into the room. Many thanks to @dan_bjertness for helping!!
