Where: Tsuki no Teikoku Go Club
When: Late August
The human had been there for about an hour and a half now.
Pacing and sitting. Pacing and sitting.
It was rare enough a human came into the dingy little run down club, all industrial lights, chipped paint, and shuttered shades. But the remarkable thing was he didn’t seem to comprehend where he had stumbled into.
Ha-Jeong had just finished thoroughly laying waste to one of the Kanemaru bouncers in a game of go. The man was still sitting at the table, head in his hands, contemplating where they had gone so wrong. ‘The first mistake was thinking you could protect your stairs.’ They thought to themselves, as she stood.
The human was still pacing around the often neglected chess corner of the room. While the club was mostly dedicated to go, other strategy and intelligence games were also on offer. Most who came in here wouldn’t turn down a good game of Kings.
She lazily wove through the tables as she made her way over. She pulled out a chair at the table the human to favour most in his sitting portion of his cycle. “I will take black as you are the newcomer.”
