ʚ blood: how messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
Melkor doesn’t have a particular filter. He can and will get as messy as he deems necessary. It all depends on his mood really - and more often than not, Melkor wants to make a mess. Seeing the tears run down your cheeks as you plead for mercy gets him off

Beyond cruel to you - especially after he has taken you captive. He would constantly remind you just of how weak you truly are to have ‘allowed yourself to be brought into his clutches’. Mocking is all part of his fun

Absolutely. Melkor doesn’t have much care for what makes you uncomfortable and what doesn’t. If he’s made his mind up, he’s doing it

He would find it quite amusing that you still think you can fight back against him. He may even humour you a little - after all, it’s so fun to see the way your expression turn into fear when you’ve realised your mistake and even more endearing; it gives him a reason to punish you

Not really a game for him. But he does enjoy watching your feeble attempts at escape. Sometimes he even makes you believe that you’ve won - only to drag you back by your hair

As stated earlier, Melkor has no methods to his madness. There is no telling what your worst experience with him is - each and every one of his tortures leave you traumatised. Some of the worst is when you’re chained up like one of his prisoners - treated exactly like one too

Terribly so. Melkor has drilled into your head time and time again that you are his and his alone. So to see someone else’s eyes linger on you for too long - to speak with you. It drives him up the wall. There was a time when one of the prisoners stared for a bit too long which resulted in him being tormented; in front of you. Just to drill the narrative further into your head that you belonged to Melkor

Melkor is the same with you as he is with everyone else - unforgiving and harsh. Sometimes you feel as though he is worse on you. It all depends on his mood - does he want to play around or make you suffer immensely? Only each new day will tell

Exact same. Well, he does treat you like his little pet - but other than that, he treats you as he treats everyone else: merciless

If you’ve pissed him off enough, Melkor will see to it that you are in constant fear of losing your life. Be it by leaving you to his balrogs or dangling you from the mountain. However, those are the more extreme cases. To be fair, his normal tortures feel like a punishment too - regardless of whether you have actually done anything wrong

What rights? You have no rights with Melkor. He doesn’t take care of your needs. Instead, you are lucky enough to have one of the servants take pity on you - they are the one who ensures you’re well taken care of; fed, bathed, resting well, etc

He has no patience whatsoever when it comes to you. Act up and it’s your funeral. You’ve learnt that the hard way

Death may truly be the only way to escape him. There is nowhere you could run where he wouldn’t find you. If you managed to escape by luck - it wouldn’t be long until you’re in his grasp once more. Don’t expect any mercy when he finds you

Not in the slightest. If anything, he feels proud about everything

He adores it - he finds you incredibly endearing when there are tears running down your face. In fact, Melkor goes out of his way to make sure that you are crying. And once you are? He mocks you for it. “Aww, does that hurt? Is my little pet in pain? Wonderful,’’

There was no waiting period or ‘pining’ time. The second Melkor laid eyes on you he knew that you had to be his - at any cost

If I’m being entirely honest - I don’t think there would be any. If you escaped, it would have been by pure luck. Not that it would truly last - as stated, the only way to truly get away from him would be death

As stated above - yes, he would. He would actively hurt you, physically, emotionally, in any way that he deems necessary. One of his main methods of hurting you would be marking you - in various ways

Not only would he break you - it would be his ultimate goal. The thought of having you shattered and at his fingertips pleases him. It means that you would be his in every and all aspects.

ʚ affection: how do they show their love and affection? how intense would it get?
Manwë shows his affection through verbal affirmations and physical affection. He is a little more on the verbal side though, with soft words, acting as though he cares whether you’ve eaten or not. He can become quite intense with these affections - especially if you don’t return them

ʚ blood: how messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
He prefers not to get too messy when dealing with you. However, that doesn’t mean that he isn’t willing to do so should you continue to disobey him. He spins it around on you, making you think that it is your fault he has to do this

There is a particular facade that he uses - he treats you well, showers you with affection and gifts, but you know better. There is a cruelty to his kindness, you know more than anyone. If you behave, it should be smooth sailings. Accept that you are now his and there won’t be any issues. If not? Well, let’s just say he has a plan for that as well

He would, but he would make it seem as though you forced his hand. His main method is forcing kisses onto you

Although he seems pretty much the same as he is with everyone else - Manwë wouldn’t show you too much of his heart. He may use it as an award system - should you behave for him then he’ll treat you as an equal, his lover and thus show you more of his vulnerability

Doesn’t like it one bit, it reminds him that what he’s doing is wrong. But that wouldn’t last too long before his manipulation starts again. “Darling, why do you fight me? All I want is to love you, can you not see that?”

It isn’t a game to him - he genuinely loves you. Unfortunately, that love has morphed into an obsession. He wouldn’t appreciate you trying to escape him - after all, he has given you everything. Why would you?

The day that his facade dropped. Manwë has always put on a mask of kindness, he was quite manipulative. Making you feel as though you were in the wrong, that all he wanted was to love and take care of you. When you finally had enough and tried to leave, he tried his tricks again - but you refused. You will never forget how his pleading, heartbroken expression morphed into something cold and menacing, the clench of his jaw and the way his hand wrapped around your throat and slammed you back into the wall

He wants you to love him, to stop fighting him and to want to be with him. To him, the ideal future is for you to be his perfect little wife

Manwë does get jealous, however, he doesn’t exactly show it until the two of you are alone. He then, once again, twists the narrative and makes it seem as though you were in the wrong

Scarily enough he acts the exact same with you as he does everyone else. Kind, caring - but you know it’s all a facade. He could make your life a living hell and still have that damn smile on his face

Now, who would skip out on the opportunity of having the King of Arda’s attention? He knew he had quite the reputation and he used it to his advantage. Making you fall for him, tricking you like he did everyone else. And when the time was right he snatched you into his clutches

They aren’t, in fact, it’s difficult to tell the difference. He has the same smile with everyone else as he holds you by your hair and threatens to rip out a few strands

He leans a lot towards verbal punishments - but he isn’t against getting physical either. He would threaten your reputation over your head - after all, if you ran around telling others of all he did to you. . . who would believe you? That Manwë could do such a thing? You would be ridiculed. He could make your life a living hell, he’s a vala.

Manwë isn’t really one to do this. He would still care for you greatly, surprisingly enough. It’s unnerving, the fact that he could mark you up until you’re brought to tears and then feed you directly after

He is extremely patient with you, to a point where you even tend to test the limits a bit. But once that patience has run out, it’s game over

There would be no escape. He quite literally has ties with Namo. He’ll keep prolonging your departure to the Halls of Mandos ( assuming you can die ). There wouldn’t be any escape from him either - you adapt to his madness whether you like it or not

Sometimes his conscience tends to get the better of him and he may start feeling guilty. However, over time he has grown accustomed to locking that part of him away

Infatuation, turned into love, turned into obsession. What was something innocent and sweet morphed into something else. In a way, it was Manwë’s love for you that drove him mad

He wouldn’t admit it, but he loves seeing you cry, hearing you scream. At first he would tell himself that it was wrong and that he shouldn’t get off of seeing you in such a state - but over time he grew to actively want to see your tears. But he wouldn’t actively seek to make you do so

He wouldn’t go around getting rid of people that he thinks are threats, instead he would simply punish you. ( At least, he wouldn’t get rid of those people. He would pull strings behind the scenes to get rid of them )

The small, tiny sliver of sanity that he has left. If you could somehow reach out to the true Manwë you may have a shot at escaping. However, don’t expect it to last. He’ll snap back to this twisted self eventually

He would, more than you would expect

Well, he is in love with you. So he would definitely hold you in high regard. Winning you over was innocent at first, but soon twisted the more his love became insanity

For quite some time, actually. Which did not work out in your favour. The long Manwë pined over you, the more he loved you. And the more he loved you? The deeper he fell into insanity

Not intentionally, at least. With that being said, he wouldn’t mind if you were broken. It meant that you finally accepted him and his love
