I have more feelings about The Good Place AU since I finished the last season so here we go

SPOILERS FOR THE GOOD PLACE BELOW

Adaine does what Tahani did and just learns a bunch of new things

The girl grew up rich what can I say

She also does what Tahani did and becomes an Architect

Helping people is just what she does!

She becomes the best architect in the Good Place and makes Aelwen (who’s a Michael-esque figure) very proud

Also bc Aelwen is Michael in this they’re very close and love each other dearly

When her parent’s get there, she never sees her father

In fact, the only reason she knows he’s there is bc Aelwen told her

When Elianwyn gets there, she and Adaine have a hard time reconciling their relationship since she was complicit in her abuse while she was at home

While is take a long time, she manages to have a relationship with Elianwyn while not really forgiving her for Adaine’s childhood—something both of them have come to be at peace with

Kristen doesn’t create a new religion in the au (bc she dead and in heaven) but she does create a group for LGBTQ+ folks who come to the Good Place for support if they need it

She and Tracker run it with two sides one being “So You’ve Been Repressed and Want to Let It All Out: A How To Guide” with Kristen and “Here’s How to Handle All Your Pent Up Feelings” with Tracker

She’s the first to leave, feeling happy having left something significant behind

Fig performs for everyone in the Good Place

She’s already got Gorgug on the drums (300 years of learning to play again and again makes them great)

Ayda is always in the crowd cheering her on

Her moment if peace comes from when she sees all of her parents together happy and content after she gives the performance of her (un)life

She sees them in the crowd, cheering and laughing and smiling together

She plays one last sick riff on her bass before she walks through the gate

Gorgug does his best to make sure everyone is happy in the Good Place

He plays sell out shows with Fig and helps Kristen and Tracker with their meetings by making them a big table with matching chairs, adding one every time there’s a new person

He spends a lot of time building things with his parents because he’s gotten (300) years of practice and he can finally help them

Zelda is there when she’s not with the Maidens and they go on (often interrupted by the Bad Kids/Maidens) dates that’s sometimes just them listening to music together

His moment of peace comes when he realizes that all of his friends and family are happy in their own ways and he has nothing left he wants to do and no more shows to play

He has a party with everyone before he leaves and sits listening to the first mixtape Zelda ever gave him before going through the gate

Fabian waits for his dad to come to the Good Place

Everyone gets a shot no matter how bad they were but mostly for the sake of Fabian getting the closure he deserves

While he’s waiting, he spends time with the other Bad Kids

I would say he dances during Fig’s shows but with Fabian’s style…

Speaking of dancing, he’d hit up all the great dancers he could find to expand his style

He’s already got the flowery elf style down (though he could practice that more) and he wants More

When Cathilda gets there (bc let’s be honest she’s great and is gonna live a long time), she smothers him with the love and affection he’s been (unknowingly) missing

Hallariel is the second of his family to get there

I know she’s immortal but also I want Fabian to get to see her before he leaves

They have long conversations and take lots of Bearimy’s to get to bc the Seacaster Family doesn’t know what proper communication is

They end up having a really good relationship by the time Bill gets there

It, of course, takes thousands of Bearimy’s to get those two to talk like normal people but once they get there, and they have this moment of real love that’s not hidden behind pride or reputation, Fabian gets that peaceful feeling

He’s finally able to connect with his family in a meaningful way on his terms and he knows beyond a shadow of a doubt who he is

Fabian spends his last night having the biggest blowout party with his friends and family before facing the gate with a clear head and heart full of love

Riz has a hard time finding something to do at first when he gets there

He’s not ready to leave of course but he spent his life solving mysteries and now he’s in the Greatest Mystery—what does he do?

He learns to relax is what he does

Much like Chidi when he gets his memory back he is Shook by how he uptight he was for the last 300 years

He is still himself but very much chilled out and trying his best to do new things

He goes out with Fabian a lot and tries to dance with him

He’s not good at it but he tries is damnedest and Fabian loves him for that

With Fig he picks up the guitar to round out their sound and is actually pretty good at it

He plays with her and Gorgug whenever they ask

Fabian thinks it’s really cool and so Riz tries to play as much as he can

At some point Kristen goes to Riz to help her and Tracker organize meetings and times and he jumps to the task with gusto

This is closer to his forte so Tracker trusts him to do what’s best

He tries to make things with Gorgug, but he’s just extremely clumsy with his hands and either uses too much force or not enough

Gorgug is super patient with him but Riz gets frustrated with himself easily and needs to take breaks

The first time he’s able to make something by himself he cries

Adaine is generally right there with him trying new things, but when they’re overwhelmed they go through the doors to a good old fashioned crime scene and solve a case together

None of the other Bad Kids & Co. get it but they’re happy Riz and Adaine are happy

When Riz feels a calm settle over him, he’s eating with his parents after they’ve finished and escape room together

They’re walking down some street and he sees the Bad Kids, standing together just laughing and enjoying themselves, excited for Riz and ready to hang

He posits one final theory to Janet before going through the gate

There’s no way all their work would lead to only pleasant nothingness—so the good they put into themselves and each other gets put back into the world in someway

She smiles and asks him to tell her if he’s right

He goes through the gate fully intending to tell her someday
