This Is Us - a somewhat unpopular opinion
Right off the bat, I just want to say I LOVE Sterling K Brown and believe he is a phenomenal actor!
My point, however, is how is it AT ALL fair that he is not only nominated, but won an Emmy, for his role in TIU when Mandy Moore has done absolute beautiful and stunning performances in both seasons and doesn't even get recognized?! I love his acting and Randall Pearson is one of my favorite characters, but in my very honest opinion, NOTHING this season, or even last (YES, including Randall's breakdown scene) tops Mandy Moore's performance in season 2!
The awards are still going on, and Sterling might just get the award again, but I quite frankly don't think he getting the recognition for his acting. I believe it's the people bts trying to prove a point, especially with all the anti-black violence going on right now. I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST STERLING OR ANY BLACK PEOPLE!
EDIT: as @wheremy--demons--hide pointed out, Milo Ventimiglia deserves this award, hands down! I've been saying this since season 1, but he deserves recognition far more for his acting! I've loved him since his GG days, and always knew he was a phenomenal actor! Honestly.
But c'mon! I can not be the only person here who believes Mandy Moore DESERVES some f*cking recognition!
