The shooting took place in November 1961 for Look magazine, a few months before the actress' death in August 1962. The photo shoot took place in the studio, where Marilyn posed on a bed among white silk sheets to the music of Frank Sinatra.
Later, these shots were included in Kirkland's book titled "With Marilyn: An Evening in 1961".
