Thank you. 💖 I don’t think any fallout will be directed toward me—I’m white, I’m super quiet about not fitting in with the Very Very Christian conservative crowd around here, I don’t socialize much with people around here, and I live out of the way in a very quiet small town. But I’m always very uneasy around these people, and these are very strange times.

I’m pleased that Biden won. I’m relieved. And I’m hoping that I’ll feel some of the joy everyone else seems to be feeling someday—maybe once Biden is inaugurated? But I’m still too nervous, and I’m sad and disappointed yet again about living in a place that went for Trump despite his Trump-ness and am once again frustrated about not being able to get out.

...though the fact that Donald Trump is surely very, very unhappy at the moment does bring me a lot of joy, now that I think about it. 🤔
