Idea: the Shadow character is one of a race called the Shadowhearts (or Shadowsouls, maybe). Weaker Shadowhearts/souls can't do much more with the form they take other than take that form, on top of all the base abilities they themselves have

If we're talking latke opinions, what's your thoughts on applesauce on latkes? I love it, but apparently I'm insane according to some of my friends. Also thoughts on using hash browns as emergency substitute latkes? Sometimes I can't shred that many potatoes!

i have honestly never tried my latkes with apple sauce. i make mine v savory (i add like. extra onions because i’m a fiend for onions and various different spices depending on what we have in the house. salt and pepper are the basics but sometimes i’ll go a little ham and add like. chili powder and cayenne or like rosemary and thyme and garlic powder and stuff) so i don’t want to put anything that i associate with Sweetness like applesauce on them dkjfhgdfg that being said i do have friends who swear by applesauce so i am in no place to cast my judgement

also i think your hash browns are valid. i have literally looked at hash browns and been like “this is one step away from being a latke. this is a latke’s weird cousin”
