Many-Chambered Paris

All Gaul may have been divided into three parts, but all Paris is divided into twenty parts – called arrondissements. They are arranged like the chambers of the famous ‘chambered nautilus,’ of which I couldn’t get a picture myself, so I had to borrow one. I also had to borrow a map of the Arrondissements (go ahead, try to say it: ah – ron – deece – eh – moan [and you should really skip the ‘n’ sound]). Don’t worry about the ending. They only have three sounds for endings in French anyway, no matter how they’re spelled, if they even say them. And nobody cares as long as you get the beginning of the word straight. So here’s the factoid you’re looking for: The zip-like postal code for each arrondissement is added to 750... so you know in which arrondissement you find yourself, as in 75001, 75002, 75003...my favorite, 75006, and on to 75020.
