I’m at the 2015 American Association of Geographers meeting in Chicago, staying at Hosteling International - Chicago. Currently I’m working on my presentation for Thursday (on signs), beneath the neon glow of another amazing sign.
This is a little cartographic fortune cookie I’m choosing to interpret as ‘forget the (precise academic/archaeological/formal) maps... follow your instincts (to make the map you want.)
It’s just the advice I needed, just when I needed it. And now I’m back to work. :)
