I read in one of your comments that you have played both Stardew Valley and Fields of Mistria (I LOVE Mistria, btw), and now I feel reeeeally curious...

Which ones are your favourite singles from both games? And reasons, if you are in the mood to elaborate a little bit.

Base Stardew Valley my favorite is Sebastian, but it’s a hard call between him, Shane, Leah, and Elliot for me. I just usually end up going with Seb at the end of the day xD he’s just like the right kind of nerd for me, and the motorcycle isn’t hurting anything.

Stardew Valley *expanded* which is my favorite mod (there’s one mod that lets you add Zoro which is certainly fun) - it’s Lance. Gods and demons and Saints and angels it’s Lance.

Victor is a close second. But Lance is just un-fucking-fair.

Lance makes me think of Marco, or maybe a younger Marco, but I just really love the characterization. I love how he’s an adventurer too and the first real character to know everything you’ve gotten yourself into 😂

For fields of mistria, March is hands down my fave. I’m a sucker for a deep voice (I know it’s just a sound garble I do not care), and his theme song and his demeanor at the start - makes me think of Kid. I like his story too.

A super close second is Eiland (I hope I’m spelling that right). I’m not usually in for pink that much ^^; but he’s just too fucking adorable, and I love the self awareness of his shortcomings 😊

Fields of Mistria has just a TON of really well written characters though. It’s one of the game’s strongest points in my opinion. The story and such is also really strong.

I love both games, I’m vibrating for Fields to hit its 1.0 release and honestly I think SDV had a big update or is getting ready to have one. I’m so ready for both. I’ve set some of the time off this year specifically to get back into games xD

Hi Quin!

Here’s my headcanon for Halloween: Kid and Killer as your companions in a dystopian or apocalyptic setting, like Evil Dead. They fight monstrous hordes side by side, making sure to protect their little reader, who does her best to defend herself with firearms.

Kid has a chainsaw attached to his prosthetic arm and a shotgun on his good one (yes I'm a Bruce Campbell fan xD). Killer protects you from an attacking creature with two katanas he looted from the last armory you passed.

And, of course, in the warmth and shelter of the next safe spot you find, they plan to work through all the stress and post-adrenaline crash in the best way possible. You find an abandoned building on the outskirts with a bit of potable water and some potential for fortification—a treasure for resting a few days or even just a few hours. You manage to clean up as best you can and grab something to eat. And finally, under the cover of night… reader sandwich.

Someone's always got lips locked with you while you're between them because even after all this time it's really hard for you to stay quiet.

They're not really making it easier, granted, but the muffling works well enough.

I like the idea that you're all trying to get back to the crew. Like you, Kid and Killer had gone to either scout something, or Kid and Killer had left the crew somewhere safe to go FIND you, and you're all headed toward a fairly well established safe space.

You know like, what was a day trip by car is a couple weeks on foot because of all the zombies.

and hey, if Kid has you on his back for the first few hours in the morning cause him and Killer railed the strength out of you, that's okay. >.>
