Pokémon: Solstice and Equinox
Explorer(water or land)| water you can explore oceans, lakes and islands, land you can explore the huge island, you can find ruins, rare Pokémon and discover new Eggs.
Researcher| you can choose a Pokémon Research Professor to study under, learn more about Pokémon in their natural habitat, their nature and health and stuff (like Pokémon Arceus)
Fashion Star| you can befriend Pokémon and enter them in contests, dress em and yourself up, and show off
Trainer| normal Pokémon game
Photographer| pretty much Pokémon Snap, but you can interact with Pokémon more, take pics with them playing, give them food, photograph Pokémon battles etc.
Legendary Hunter| it's like a nuzlocke option, finding all of the legendaries by doing each route, and finish the Pokedex. Your Pokémon die if they faint
Bad Ends| at the beginning you have the choice to join the bad guys
Free Run| No story, just collecting and playing with Pokémon
Each route starts with a starter, and exploring to find your team. Once you have six Pokémon, the routes become more clear.
Also, Pokémon have different personalities now. Like, some are shy, so you have to coax them out, some are lazy, sleeping on trees or in your way, some are aggressive and run at you(typical Pokémon) some run away from you and such and such.
A Pokémon Park. Bigger than the Campsite, where *all* the Pokémon you catch are there. Like Professor Oak's lab, you can go in and play with them
You can interact so much more than Campsite, like pet them, play tag, individually feed them, bathe them
And in the Park you can practice battle too, but only when your Pokémon are at 100% love and trust
In the Trainer Route, you learn that some Pokémon Gym Leaders are evil, and work for the bad guys.
In Bad Ends route, you infiltrate the Pokémon Gym
