The other god blogs are too nice. Too chummy. To afraid of conflict. They make things boring.
Oh, indeed. I recall watching them war, back when I was merely some watching eyes in the shade . All of them, having developed no masks to hide behind, having needed no masks to hide behind. Flames that collided with churning tides that split open rock that swallowed the skies. Piercing light rivalled by flashing lightning rivalled by the stark, cold white of a blizzard.
Some I did not see, but gods cannot wage war without scarring the world. A slain beast eaten up by rot and winding roots, warped with magic that still crackles in its fur.
But we are past the age of gods and monsters, now. In the metaphorical sense, of course, but dear Rhenik did take it literally for a while. We snipe and scheme, but never quite openly strife. Some even take up a mantle of peace, as you may be aware.
Such a message does make one wonder, though. How many of the others have you sent this exact message, or a message with similar intent, to? And what makes you think I am susceptible to the words of a mere faceless whisper?
