So you know, I’ve been a fan of country music my whole life, and I am frequently annoyed about the state of it these days (it’s getting better lately though!). And when it comes to Christmas, we have a lot of wonderful options for songs. 

There’s a lot of classics covered by country artists, like Garth Brooks and Kacey Musgraves among others. Faith Hill had her hit in 2000 with “Where Are You Christmas” but I’m not linking it because I don’t really like it.

So what’s my favorite? Well, there are some big contenders, like “Tennessee Christmas” (side note: this is my second favorite Christmas song, and the most well-known and original version is by Amy Grant, but I just found out that the male version I always loved was fucking ALABAMA and I’m really excited about that so that’s the link) and Dolly’s “Hard Candy Christmas”, but those aren’t at the very top.

So I made an actually shareable klance playlist (that I will add to as I think of more songs), but it is a reminder that by any music snob/hipster standards, my music taste is awful.

there are currently 50 songs on it. i’ll probably reorder them eventually to shuffle it a little but for now, the first 13 songs are one direction. the next 6 are taylor swift. the last 9 are country. and in the middle there’s everything from ed sheeran and p!nk to --no lie-- hilary duff, the a*teens and hoku. so yeah, browse it at your own risk, i guess?

I’m rewatching S1E3 and I’m screaming because when Shiro and Pidge are trapped by the Robeast and the other’s come flying in, Keith is the one to order, “Lay down some covering fire so they can get out of there!” and then Lance comes in ON KEITH’S RIGHT SIDE and says “I’m on it!” and just... if that wasn’t intentional foreshadowing then someone is an accidental genius holy shit.

i got used to filling out all my cards on the right side of the card after the message, and then i automatically started there with someone who really should have started on the blank side because i have a lot to say, so i just had to write really tiny and hope she can actually read it, oops.

also its 11pm and I have yet to wash my face or change out of my work clothes which means I’ll be going to bed probably an hour and a half late, which means I’ll be DEAD all day tomorrow, as opposed to when I only get three hours of sleep and I’m TOTALLY FINE until the sleep deprivation catches up to me at like 3pm
