Seriously, y’all, in addition to the ramblings in my last post here’s the reaction video to Fake Monk from the two guys I mentioned. And just look at them and their reaction after the performance (starts at about 07:30), how speechless and emotional they are. They are so authentic and honest in their emotions in their reaction. I really do appreciate all of their reactions to Hua Hua’s performances and I can only hope that they’ll react to his new original (as opposed to covered/rearranged) songs one day (I’m thinking the Healing Trilogy, the Mars Trilogy, 7 Personalities, Flowers in a Small Town...). In the last reaction video they did for the little flower, Wayfarer, they said they’re gonna take a break as they always do with artists. But this was three years ago, so fingers crossed because I’d really love to see them react to his performances again. I highly recommend all of their reactions to the little flower.
I’m just extremely partial to his Fake Monk performance because this was the first performance of his I stumbled upon and I was so shaken, like, never before in my life have I ever seen anything like it.
A lot of his early TV show performances are pure art.
Last but not least, in their reaction video to Salt of the Earth they said modern pop music often seems so boring, repetitive...well...as they said, he is something else...
ETA: Performance with introductory interview.
